Precima Magnettechnik GmbH was created as an independent, innovative, medium-sized family-owned brake producer in 1981.
We develop and manufacture a broad range of electro-magnetic operated brakes and clutches for various applications in the machine and other sectors with the help of our team of more than 200 employees. The performance range of our regular product line's brake torques is between 0.5 and 1,600 Nm.
Our well-organized assembly lines and cutting-edge CNC machining technologies enable us to create more than 650,000 pieces annually. We have the most flexibility and can respond quickly because to the high percentage of self-made parts. Our own in-house engineering and development teams, which are extremely skilled and knowledgeable, are experts in creating unique braking solutions that meet very high technical and financial standards.
The PRECIMA spring loaded brakes are electromagnetically actuated single disk brakes with two friction surfaces. For the needs of cutting-edge machine and apparatus construction, Precima developed electro-magnetic clutches and load current actuated brakes.
They satisfy the requirements of contemporary motor power engineering because of their high quality standards in development, material selection, and manufacture. FDD twin brakes are two low noise, specially constructed brakes that operate independently of one another to meet high safety standards. The brakes come with a specific one-handed manual hand release and tapped bores tacho or encoder attachment as standard equipment.
